Turkey Pumpkin Chili

Makes 6 servings
Ready n 20 minutes


2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
1 small yellow onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 package Little’s Cuisine Original Chili Seasoning Mix
1 lbs. ground white or dark meat turkey
1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin purée
1 (15 oz.) can small white beans, rinsed and drained


1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Add onion, bell pepper, jalapeños and garlic and cook, stirring frequently, until tender, about 5 minutes.

2. Add ground turkey and cook until browned. Stir in Original Chili Seasoning Mix until combined for a couple of minutes.

3. Then add tomatoes sauce and pumpkin.  Reduce heat to medium low and add beans. Simmer and stir occasionally for 20 minutes.  Serve with sour cream, sour cream or slices of avocado.
