Little's Loaded Chili Cheeseburgers

Makes 6 Servings
Ready in 30 minutes


1-1/2 lbs. ground beef (80% lean) or ground turkey (90% lean)
1 package Little’s Cuisine Chili Seasoning Mix
2 Tbsp. butter
6 slices cheddar cheese
6 hamburger buns, toasted
1 tomato, sliced
1 onion, sliced
Leaf lettuce


1. Place the ground beef or turkey in a large mixing bowl. Add Chili Seasoning Mix and combine gently but thoroughly with your hands. Form the meat into 6 – 1/4 inch patties, placing the burgers on a baking sheet. Let burgers stand for 10 minutes before cooking or until at room temperature.
2. In a skillet or grill pan, melt butter over medium-high heat. Cook burgers until all edges are browned. Then flip over the burgers add cheese and cook for about 2 minutes or until 160F.
3. Remove the burgers from the pan onto a plate and let stand for 2 minutes. Serve burgers on hamburger buns and top with tomato, onion and lettuce.
